Born and raised in a small town in Nebraska, Tasha grew up being active and involved in anything she could get her hands on. Playing volleyball in college brought her to Wichita, KS at Friends University. Struggling with an eating disorder throughout college, she was led to yoga and it has forever changed her recovery -- enabling her to find her true identity. Yoga not only empowered her but healed her in many ways as she learned to slow down, sit a little deeper in the tension, and rest in the unknown.
Moving to Kansas City in 2014 to work with kids living in the cycle of poverty, she knew she needed to find community. The moment she came to yoga at Core Energy, she knew there was something and wanted to be a part of it. She is in the process of completing her teacher training at Core Energy and plans to certified in August.
Tasha stands for authenticity and wellness in all areas of her life and that is what empowers her to teach. Her intention as a teacher is to connect with her students where they are and empower them to believe in their unique and authentic gifts. And to just be you, because you alone are enough.
When she is not on her mat or teaching you can find her running on a trail, on a new kayaking adventure in her pink kayak, or loving on her babies at Operation Breakthrough.
